Florida Afterschool Update - January 2021

Happy New Year FASA Members and Friends of Afterschool!

FASA would like to get the year 2021 off to a good start for all. Since we were unable to hold our annual afterschool conference in 2020, we want to engage both present and past FASA members. We will be updating our membership directory to offer a complimentary FASA membership. Beginning January 2021 and ending October 31, 2021. FASA will be offering monthly Professionals Development opportunities over the next few months to all out members. We did not want anyone to miss these opportunities and any other benefits of membership.

We hope you enjoy tomorrow's opportunity!

FASA & kid-grit Launch the Smashing SEL Series: Tips for The Soul

The first of four slammin’ SEL sessions focusing on leader-gritTM, teambuilding and self-care!

Join us in 2021 on January 21st, March 18th, May 20th  and July 15th  for 30-minute powerhouse adult social and emotional learning and self-care sessions for Administrators and frontline staff.

Are your team members feeling the love? Do you feel your team is disconnected at times? Wish you knew how to share the love with them? Often leaders don’t pay enough attention to how their staff are feeling or should be feeling. They underestimate how central emotions are needed to build the right workplace culture. In this lightening fast session, we will share a leadership tool to support administrators looking to deepen their relationships and motive their staff!

Here is a Zoom link for the first session:
