Announcing the dates for the 2020 Florida Afterschool Conference!
Mark your calendars for October 13-16, 2020
Rosen Centre Hotel, Orlando, FL.
Tens of thousands of pieces of “hand art” will be hung throughout the Capitol Rotunda Sunday, January 26 – Friday, January 31, 2020 creating an amazing display of children’s art. “Hand art” is decorated by children and their teachers and collected at childcare centers and schools across the state. The hands hang in the Capitol Rotunda as a reminder to legislators and advocates that we must take care of our most precious commodity – our children.
Want your children’s hand art on display at the Capitol?
Mail your artwork postmarked any time before January 18, 2020.
Schools, childcare centers, and individuals from across the state have been submitting hands to hang at the Capitol for many years, and we encourage everyone to participate in this time-honored tradition.
